A traditional evaluation is the right tool when you need a diagnosis. The Blueprint is not a diagnosis. It shows how your child learns, what's getting in the way, and what to do about it. If I think a formal evaluation would help, I'll tell you.

What happens during the Blueprint process?
It starts with a free 15-minute call. If it's a good fit, you fill out online intake forms about your child's history, strengths, and what you've tried. Then I spend about 1.5 hours online with your child. I put it all together in your Blueprint, a PDF report, and we meet online to go over it and talk through next steps.
What exactly is the Blueprint?
A written report that shows your child's strengths and areas of need, how they learn, what's getting in the way, and practical recommendations for home, school, or work. It's a plan, not a score or a label.
Will my child be labeled or diagnosed?
No. The Blueprint is not a diagnosis. If your child already has one, I take it into account. If I see patterns that might need a closer look, I'll tell you and help you figure out next steps, like a referral for a formal evaluation.
Do you work with older students?
Yes. I work with students ages 10 and up, including college students and young adults. The Blueprint fits their age and can cover school, work, and daily life.
What if my child doesn't want to do it?
That's common, and it's okay. I build rapport first and keep the pressure low. If resistance is part of the picture, that tells me something too.
Do I need to be there for the session with my child?
Usually not. The session is just your child and me, so they can speak freely. You're part of the intake forms and the review. With younger students, I may bring you in.
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on scheduling and how quickly the intake forms come back. I'll give you a timeline on our first call.
Can I share the Blueprint with my child's school?
Yes. The Blueprint is yours to keep and share with teachers, schools, and other providers. If the school is slow to respond, you can still use most of the plan at home and in daily routines.
Does the price include a follow-up?
Yes. It includes a review session to go over the Blueprint together, and a check-in 30–60 days later.
